Fisher further explained that there's a hospital just 5 minutes from her home. Access to doctors, clinics, and hospitals is easy in India. She feels safe here because she can get immediate help in an emergency.

She also said that the entire treatment cost 50 rupees (about 60 cents), whereas in the US, even such a minor injury can result in a hefty bill. Insurance premiums alone there cost 1,000-2,000 dollars per month.
