Ingredients for Moong Dal Kadhi
Mung dal - 1 cup
Yogurt - 2 cups
Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
Ginger-garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
Red chilies - 2
Asafoetida - 1 pinch
Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Curry leaves - 8-10
Coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons
Salt - to taste

Moong Dal Kadhi:

Method for Making Moong Dal Kadhi:-
To make Moong Dal Kadhi, first soak the moong dal for one to two hours and then grind it finely. Set aside a small amount of the paste. Now, add salt and red chili powder to the remaining paste in a bowl and prepare a batter. Fry the pakodas with it.
Heat oil in a pan. Fry the pakodas in it. Remove the prepared pakodas and set them aside.
Now, mix the yogurt and the reserved moong dal. Add water and turmeric powder to this mixture.
Now, pour oil into a pan and temper it with cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves, asafoetida, and red chilies. Add ginger-garlic paste and lightly fry. Add the yogurt mixture and cook over low heat, stirring constantly. Once the curry comes to a boil and thickens slightly, turn off the heat.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
